The Comedy Hall of Fame, Inc. is a Florida based 501-C3 Not-for-Profit Corporation d/b/a The National Comedy Hall of Fame Museum.
The museum is designed to provide visitors with an educational and entertaining history of comedy from Ancient Greece to present day America. From the young children who enjoy the puppet displays of Howdy-Doody, Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff, to their grandparents who enjoy the exhibits of Charlie Chaplin, Abbott and Costello and Lucille Ball, all who visit The National Comedy Hall of Fame Museum find their visit unique and memorable. Every area of comedy from theater, stand-up, vaudeville, radio, film and television is represented in the National Comedy Hall of Fame Museum.
The National Comedy Hall of Fame museum is officially recognized as the only comedy hall of fame museum in the United States, Canada, and England by such prestigious organizations as the White House, the Library of Congress, the American Association of Museums, the Smithsonian Institute and the Los Angeles and New York Friars Clubs.

The mission of the National Comedy Hall Of Fame Museum is to celebrate the history of comedy and to honor the great legends of comedy who have dedicated their lives to improving the world we live in by sharing with us their humor and bestowing upon us the greatest gift of all, “LAUGHTER.”
GOAL AND OBJECTIVE
The goal and objective of the National Comedy Hall of Fame museum is to provide education in comedy history and the artistic expression of comedy through the use of exhibits, collectibles, biographies, and entertaining videos and movies.
The museum is designed to provide visitors with an educational yet entertaining history of comedy from the beginning of the century to present day, including radio, screen, stage and nightclub comedians. It will provide a melting pot of comedy performers including the great black comedians, women of comedy, ventriloquists, clowns, mimes and even cartoon characters. As an added feature for the student of comedy history, monthly comedy workshops will be provided with instruction by accomplished comics, designed to encourage young comedians.

The museum houses exhibits of over 450 world-renowned comedians spanning over a century in comedy history and representing every medium in the entertainment industry from Film, Radio, Stand-Up, Television, Theater and Vaudeville.
A free library providing scripts, films, videos and numerous other educational material concerning the history of comedy, is available to students of theater, television/movie producers and directors, and members of the museum. We are currently in need of books in any condition for our free library. The books should be about any form of comedy or comedians.
The National Comedy Hall of Fame Museum is searching for donations of Comedian Collectibles for display in the Museum.
